Normal Skin

Characteristics:

• Over 20 and under 30 years of age
• Oil glands function at a normal rate of secretion
• Perfect hydration and muscle tone
• Skin tends to be neither oily nor dry
• Skin is soft, firm and smooth to touch
• Texture is fine with a slight rose tinge to the complexion
• May have experienced slight oiliness and patches of acne as a teenager, usually in the T-zone
• Acne eruptions are only minor and usually occur in relation to hormonal cycle
• May have only a few enlarged pores on the chin, cheeks and nose
• Will only need to wash hair 1-2 times per week
• Skin tone and colouring are relatively even and devoid of red blotches
• Skin temperature is normal
• Most babies through to pre-adolescence have normal skin
